Iris Ahuva Pykovski is an Israeli contemporary painter whose work explores the universal search for home—not merely as a physical place, but as a state of spiritual belonging. Through luminous landscapes, symbolic imagery, and richly layered compositions, she creates paintings that invite viewers into worlds suspended between memory, dream, and revelation. Her work reflects an ongoing journey toward inner peace, where the visible and the unseen gently converge.

Pykovski's personal journey has taken her across countries, cultures, and questions of identity. Each stage of life has become part of her artistic vocabulary, leaving traces that continue to resonate within her paintings. Rather than abandoning the past, she embraces it, allowing memory to become an essential layer in the creation of each new work.

A graduate of the Haredi Branch of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Pykovski approaches painting as both discovery and transformation. Her canvases evolve through layers of color, revision, and renewal, revealing forms that seem to emerge naturally from the paint itself. Like memories gradually coming into focus, mountains, trees, gazelles, peacocks, sacred places, and shafts of light appear within compositions that balance careful observation with intuitive expression.

Her paintings invite contemplation rather than explanation. They are not intended to document a place, but to evoke the emotional experience of arriving somewhere deeply familiar yet never fully known. The landscapes become inner landscapes, reflecting the soul's longing for wholeness, beauty, and spiritual rest.

Underlying Pykovski's work is the conviction that home is ultimately a destination of the spirit. Every painting becomes another step along that journey—a quiet search for harmony, belonging, and the hidden presence that accompanies us throughout life.
